FNH FNS-9 Longslide

John Johnston of Ballistic Radio gave an update on shooting his FNS-9 longslide. Pretty impressive. 2201 shots fired and only 4 failures. One of the downsides to having something new? Not a lot of aftermarket support.

Kinda cool, but not *really* a longslide IMO, 5" barrel is fairly standard. I'd like to save that title for the 7" barreled guns like the famous AMT Hardballer longslide. I'd love to see a modern handgun like that with a full-length frame.

  @Alex That used to be true, but nowadays it seems that 4" is standard for service pistols, and 5" is reserved for special guns. Look at the G17, FNX, XD, etc.

I really want to know that the tiny tanto neck knife in the last "EDC" picture is called.
Anybody recognise it? It looks like it has carbon fiber on the flats of the blade.
