The Lone Star Field Tactical VR555LE SPEC-REST is a easily transported and rapid deployment tripod or quad based shooting rest. It is designed to be used in the field in tactical situations but can also be used for hunting. The flexibility it offers is quite impressive. The system was on display at SHOT Show.

If you have ever wanted your own mounted gun, this rest gets you half way there 🙂

To really get the idea of what this system is capable watch the promotional video. A video about a shooting rest may sound boring but its actually very cool.

Ever predator hunted at night? You can't do it laying prone.

I have one in Queensland Australia
These are awesome for a field rest not shabby at the range either
Little heavy to carry any distance over a couple hundred yards
Tripod made mostly of stainless and is very well made the upper deck is alloy
Any lighter and quality would be reduced This should last a very long time
I set up the spare pivot on my shooting vehicle totally improved my hunting
I mounted the spot light under the rest perfection is all I can say
The rifle gets looked after a lot better now as well as it can be left sit between shots
It gets a lot of attention on shoots
My furthest head shot yet a rabbit at 700m 223 sako 85 vlss on this rest
    Love it
Highly recommend this to fox callers as well
Or any one that uses a hide
