“The Aimpoint FlipMount is a quick attach / detach mount that can be quickly flipped in or out of the optical axis. The FlipMount is designed primarily for use with Aimpoint magnifiers, but can also be used to mount other optical equipment with a 30mm tube. The FlipMount is offered in two different heights (38.5mm/1.5in at 114g/4.0oz and 47.5mm/1.9in at 129g/4.6oz), being 40mm (1.6in) long and 54.5mm (2.1in) wide, to accommodate various sight mounts.”

The TwistMount fits any Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny Rail and can also be used for other optical equipment with a 30 mm tube. With a total height of 48mm (1.9in) over rail using an optional AR15 spacer, being 40mm (1.6in) long and 48mm (1.9in) wide at 110g  (3.8oz), this mount does not offer flip capability – the magnifier is removed from the firearm when not in use.”
