Ed Brown Products will celebrate its 50th anniversary of being in business in 2018. The company is gearing up for a year long party, and part of its celebration will be the release of a new gun called the 2018 Executive Target.

The 2018 Executive Target is a 1911 style pistol, as if there would be any doubt. The Executive Target is the top of the Executive Series, and the 2018 model takes it to a new level with a mounted Trijicon RMR sight.

This is a single stack, government sized frame with a 5″ barrel. Unloaded, the gun weighs about 40 ounces with a magazine. According to Ed Brown Products, the RMR sight is affixed to an Ed Brown Products mount and has a 3.25 MOA aiming dot. The RMR is, of course, adjustable.

The gun is finished in a satin stainless with the slide getting a flattened top, ball mill cuts and a French border. The front and back straps of the gun are checkered. As with any of the Ed Brown Products guns, the 2018 Executive Target can be customized at the shop to meet your exact desires. It looks like Ed Brown Products offers more than 100 different customization options.

These pistols can be had in 9mm, .38 Super and .45 ACP. The base model in .45 ACP has a price of $3,680.
