AK’s Get Modern Chest Rig Love from Beez Combat Systems

Showing that they are indeed the Bee’s Knees, Beez Combat Systems has announced and released their latest chest rig for the AK platform. Designed for lightweight performance, the rather plainly named “AK47 Chest Rig GRID” is an advanced take on the chest rig concept, use the latest thin and light materials to great effect.

The rig features a full set of single-depth integrated pouches across its front, allowing for 5 magazines or simliar sized items to be carried without further customization. In front of that is a full row of laser-cut ACRONYM material that can be used to mount any Molle compatible pouch, 14 columns side.

For easy load carriage, the right has 2″ shoulder webbing and features 1″ buckles at various places for easy donning and doffing. Load disbursement is via an H Harness design.

Currently, the AK47 Chest Rig GRID is offered only in Multicam, though the presence of drop-down menus seems to imply that various colors and patterns will be available in the future. Retail pricing is pegged at a reasonable $89.99 and is available at Beez Combat Systems.

I would be interested IF (and that`s a big IF) their customer service wasn`t garbage. Plus, the way they reacted to simple criticism on the AKFiles seals the deal for me. They get none of my money. It` a rough-and-tumble industry and people are more than happy to offer their opinions. If they do so harshly, chances are they have a good reason to be so steadfast towards a single position. To go ballistic (no pun) at them is about as far from an “Adult” response as can be. My money will be going towards smaller, custom nylon gear companies. Not going to give any names but I`m sure whomever reads this already has an idea or two. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d57df76835ab2940a0ec211513e1c76d900be0a671a7ece430c5c975618b8d61.png https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/b36db6f194dc1cf2cc86ea5e4f63a4ffa89abc0cd29b3c5717bbd02534c0ea87.png

Do they have a “maternity” model with stretch panels for the Armchair Warriors?

I have a BEEZ plate carrier. Very nice though had to wait two months last Summer because of their slow turnaround. Don’t know what their turnaround is now.
