A Pair of New Shotguns from the Benelli Performance Shop

Benelli M2

Benelli’s Performance Shop announced a pair of new M2 shotguns that are designed for specific hunting needs. They are the M2 Waterfowl Edition and the M2 Turkey Edition.

M2 Waterfowl Edition

The Waterfowl Edition starts with a base M2 semi-automatic shotgun and has a variety of Performance Shop enhancements. According to Benelli, the shop hones and polishes the action plus custom tunes the trigger group. Then the Performance Shop lengthens and polishes the forcing cone. Additionally, a HiViz Comp front sight, enlarged bolt release and oversized charging handle are added. The company includes a paracord survival sling with the shotgun. Also included are three Rob roberts Triple Threat choke tubes. Before the gun ships, the shop patterns the gun to ensure consistent, even patterns.

This gun has a 28″ barrel with an overall length of just under 50″. The unloaded weight is 7.2 pounds. The ComfortTech stock and forearm have a Gore Optifade Waterfowl Timber camo pattern. The metal bits are finished in Cerakote Texas Tan. The MSRP is $2,699.

M2 Turkey Edition

M2 Turkey

The Performance Shop states these guns were developed to be the ultimate turkey guns. The guns were upgraded with Rob Roberts enhancements and fitted with a Burris Fast-Fire II red dot sight. Both the ComforTech (traditional) and SteadyGrip (pistol grip style) stocks are included with the 12 gauge versions of the gun. Both styles of stocks are finished with a Mossy Oak Bottomland camo pattern. 20 gauge versions of the gun come only with the ComforTech stock, and that is finished in Realtree APG. The 24″ barrel and receiver have a Cerakote finish in Patriot Brown. The suggested retail price is $3,399 for the 12 gauge and $2,399 for the 20.
