Happy Thanksgiving from The Firearm Blog!

The best Thanksgiving ever? A US soldier and sailor both enjoy some turkey 17 days after the Armistice that ended the War to End All Wars.

The holiday season is upon us! Today, the last Thursday in November, is Thanksgiving, a holiday to give thanks for all the blessings in our lives.

Therefore, we here at The Firearm Blog give thanks for our readers all over the world, and wish all of them a very happy Thanksgiving!

We at TFB will be taking a break today, so please go enjoy the company of your friends and family – and of course the great food and sports – and check back with us tomorrow! See you then!

These young troops, enjoying a feast, are now almost certainly long dead.

I’m thankful that America has a long tradition of providing brave Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, Marines, (and Coasties and FBI agents) willing to risk their youth and lives to keep the American dream alive.
