Custom Glock Parts by L2D Combat

L2D Combat is a custom Glock parts manufacturer located in Coral Springs, Florida. They make match grade Glock slides, barrels, thread protectors and a number of internal parts.

Here are some of the most interesting L2D Combat products:

Glock barrels are manufactured from 416R stainless steel. Currently, they offer barrels for Glock 19 and Glock 17. The barrels feature broach cut rifling and muzzle crown. All barrels also come threaded (1/2×28) and with L2D Combat thread protectors. They offer either plain stainless steel or black nitride finish. They also have 1:10 or 1:16 twist rates depending on the barrel model.

L2D Combat - Barrel1

Black nitride finish with 1:16 twist rate. Price: $165.

L2D Combat - Barrel2

Stainless steel with 1:10 twist rate. Price: $220.

Slides are also offered for Glock 19 and Glock 17 with various finishes. Like the barrels, all slides are manufactured from 416 stainless steel too. Slides also feature their “bullnose muzzle”, which is the contoured front end of the slide designed to aid during holstering.

L2D Combat - Slide1

Glock 17 slide with Black nitride finish. Price: $380.

Other Glock parts

L2D Combat also makes 1/2×28 thread protectors with interrupted thread pattern gripping surface. These are also made of stainless steel and sold at $23.

Another interesting part is their stainless steel firing pin. It features fluted body, which reduces firing pin weight for shorter lock time. The flutes also reduce friction between firing pin and spacer sleeve, plus they allow debris to find its way out. The firing pin is CNC machined from 17-4 stainless steel and has titanium nitride finish. It comes with a new spring, spacer sleeve and spring cups.

L2D Combat - Striker1

L2D Combat striker kit. Price: $75.

Besides the products they also offer customization services including full or partial stippling of various textures, trigger modifications and several other services.

For when custom stippling didn’t make your glock gaudy enough.

I like that the protectors are compact, but the appearance would drive me nuts, looks Queen-Anne-ish.

Egress point = ingress point. Is a fluted firing pin really necessary?

OK. Not being a Glock guy, can anyone tell me what parts of the factory gun are worth keeping?

    • somethingclever

Pretty much all of them, unless you want the other boys to think your gun is pretty.

    • pithy

Sights need to go, and trigger if you prefer a lighter one. Pretty much everything else is just what somethingclever said–looks and Barbie additions.
