Breaking: Larry Vickers New Glock Leaked?

Just a few hours ago Larry Vickers released a teaser video of his new special edition Lipsey’s Glocks that are to be formally announced tomorrow, but it looks like someone might have spilled the beans. There is the possibility that the retailer made an assumption about what the new LAV Glock is going to look like, but the photos lead me to believe that they are accurate.

Before we get into the photos, take a look at Larry’s teaser video below. Larry Vickers will be announcing the new limited edition pistols on Facebook tomorrow at 9 AM CST.

As for the possible leaked photos by Glockmeister? They sent out an email with a page to pre-order the new Glocks directly from them before the planned announcement with Lipsey’s tomorrow. The images appear to be genuine at a glance, but the absence of a Glock 19 photo is a bit of a head scratcher. I won’t speculate; you can decide if the are genuine.

LAV did come out and say that the leak was not official. He does say that they have the wrong photo, I believe he is talking about the lower right photo that is clearly a standard Gen 3 frame.

So what should we expect with the limited edition Glocks? The Glockmeister pre-order page lists them as having Vickers Elite Battlesights with a gold bead front, 2 Vickers baseplates, Vickers slide stop, Vickers mag catch, and Vickers butt plug. They go on to say on their web page that the details may vary, and finalized specs will be released tomorrow at 9 AM CST on Larry’s Facebook page.

The leaked photos might be a clue. The release is set for tomorrow.

Put the brakes on the presses we have a breaking story?

If anything like the new 17Ms.. The slides will fall off when dry fired..

Things I never thought I’d see in print: “Vickers butt plug”

    • tankton

Looks like they kept the backscratcher, too.

    • Burst

He tested the other butt plugs, and none of them could do the job.

      I cannot even.

    • Patrick R. – Senior Writer

      Phuc Long reference FTW!

      • Dracon1201

Butt Plugs seem to be popular among mall ninjas

        • Patrick R. – Senior Writer

They can also be quite useful if your Glock is misbehaving.

          • supergun

Lets keep the comments civil here.

          • Patrick R. – Senior Writer

            HEY! That’s my line!

          • supergun

            You remembered!

      • DanGoodShot

You guys gotta stop. Your killing me! Lmfao

        • Patrick R. – Senior Writer

They can also be used to clear stoppages. As a certified armorer, I think that they are very useful.

          • Longhaired Redneck

A butt plug by definition is a stoppage…

          • Outlaw

Damn sure ought to be anyway!!!

    • Sean

Well, he already has the Crisco

      • Klaus Von Schmitto

It’s not Crisco damn it! It’s a vegetable oil based lubricant.

        • DGR

That magically removed fouling from the gun while it burned away!

        • SerArthurDayne

        • Very true I wish we could just drop that.

          • DGR

Why? Has Larry ever apologized for blatantly lying to us as a community? Did I miss him saying that he was sorry for that whole debacle?

    • DanGoodShot

OMG, I just fell off my toilet laughing. Best comment ever. Time to flush and dry my eyes.

    • fnu lnu

Mall ninja fanboi butt plugz, yo!

    • Obi Sean

Heheh! Heh! He said “Butt Plug”! Heheheh!

    • Core

      Are we still phrasing??

  • thedonn007

Who is actually going to buy anything with his name on it?

    • Patrick R. – Senior Writer

If he built one that mirrored the 19M I would. Why not?

      • thedonn007

The fireclean fiasco has changed my impression of Larry Vickers

        • BigR

Yeah! I fell for it too!

    • Harry’s Holsters

With the accessories it comes with it’s actually a pretty decent deal.

  • Spencerhut

Ohh a Glock with a 1930’s era front sight and a bunch of other crap Glock refused to put on the gun at the factory . . . Please take my $800 so Larry can get his $1 for himself.

    • Harry’s Holsters

They’re usually cheaper than that at the stores.

      • Spencerhut

Thank for plugging your holsters on my comment.

        • dave

It’s just his handle, high speed. Lighten up, francis.

          • Spencerhut

I own a gun store. You don’t see me whoring it all over the place. That guy makes BS comments on just about every thread. So it may just be his handle, or username in the current vernacular, but he is whoring his business.

          • RocketScientist

“but he is whoring his business”

You spelled “marketing” wrong. What the hell is wrong with someone being proactive in promoting his business, building awareness, etc?

          • Spencerhut

Obviously you and I go into these discussion forums with different expectations.

          • RocketScientist

Hahaha. That’s ripe. ProTip: If you go on the internet, especially a website that provides a service for “free” (like this blog, for instance… and its a blog, not a forum, BIG difference) and expect NOT to get marketed to, you’re gonna have a bad time.

BTW: you realize this entire website is basically a marketing vehicle? You’re commenting on a post about a new product (marketing), surrounded by links to ads for other products (marketing), or links to reviews (marketing) and other posts promoting products (marketing)… that’s all this website is. All that is A-OK with you, but some dude uses his business’ name as his username, and THATS a bridge too far? You’re a weird dude, my man.

          • Spencerhut

Well there you go . .

        • Harry’s Holsters

Not plugging holsters just correcting your inaccuracies.

          • Spencerhut

If you are not plugging holsters than change you screen name or stop making stupid comments on every thread on TFB. I own a gun store, you don’t see me whoring it everywhere. Have some self respect.

          • Harry’s Holsters

Man I make the same type of comments I’ve made on this blog for years. Just because I changed my user name to reflect the company and give it more exposure doesn’t mean make my comments irrelevant. I’ll take all the exposure I can get anywhere I can get it. If I was doing what you are accusing me off the blog would have banned me long ago.

          • ⚠️ ⚠️ JIMBOS DOG TREATS⚠️ ⚠️

I hear what you are saying! But did you see this crazy new hack to dog treats?????

          • Dual sport

Actually, you’ve mentioned it twice already.

          • Spencerhut

I did? So what is my company’s name? Right. . . . thought so. Here is your sign . . .

    • Lee Attiny

If I could throw some upgraded parts on a gun with my name on it and turn a profit I’m pretty sure I’d be doing exactly what Larry Vickers does. Wouldn’t you?

  • Harry’s Holsters

These guns are nice because of the features they offer for the price. This just shows how glock would do if they offered a model with these add ons as standard. Vickers Tactical and Tango down literally make parts that should be stock on a glock. Heck just a good set of sights would be good.

I’m an LAV fan as much as the next guy but I don’t think it’s his popularity that’s selling these so quick.

    • M&M’s

Glock doesn’t need the money. 5k guns is a blip on the radar for them.

      • Harry’s Holsters

While I agree with that what I’m talking about is selling way more than 5k guns.

        • M&M’s

You don’t understand. Glock has a backlog of orders as it is. They can’t make guns fast enough to meet current demand. You also overestimate the popularity of the RTF2 design.

          • Harry’s Holsters

I didn’t say anything about the RTF2 in particular. Just tack a glock in general and sell it from factor with decent sights and it would help their sales. I keep hearing about this back log and I know they are doing well but they aren’t at a level that more sales would hurt them.

          • M&M’s

You really don’t know what you’re talking about. The concept of full capacity is clearly lost on you.

          • Harry’s Holsters

If Glock was having as much trouble producing enough guns as you say they wouldn’t have been able to release and produce the Glock 42 and 43 or 5k special serial number guns for LAV.

  • Anonymoose

Let me know when the 21 comes out.

  • Marvin

How are these any different than all of the other ones that have been released? With all of the exact same Tango Down stuff? And why do I have the feeling that this is intentionally manufactured drama just so I/we will look at the picture tomorrow to see if it is different? If it is well it worked hahahaha.

    • Patrick R. – Senior Writer

I can assure you it isn’t. We don’t play that game here.

  • Oh… kay…

It looks like a bunch of fairly typical aftermarket Glock upgrades of the sort that anyone can already order online; they’re probably good parts and all and may even be a good deal when bundled together, but I honestly don’t get why anyone would be MAX HYPE about it.

    • Bill

Custom used to mean something other than adding aftermarket parts that anyone could do.

    • Gary Kirk

But, but, but… It’s a glock, and it’s new, and it’s Larry Vickers.. They’re glock fanatics, no more need be said..

    • j

  • MK18

I don’t get it. The Vickers WC 1911…that’s something….but this is just a RTF2 framed Glock with a few Vickers add-on parts (basically anyone could do this). At least the previous ones were FDE or Gray. Plus the sight configuration is meh. Not a fan of brass beads and no rear dots (but I love the shape and profile of the Vickers sights). I’d prefer a 3-dot Tritium (green with white outline front, yellow/no-outline rears) but they don’t make that (only a Straight 8 setup which is passable)

  • Pete Sheppard

And…is all this extra perfection worth it???

    • ozzallos .

      That was zen.

  • Havok

So GlockStore screws up a product announcement and now Glockmeister…..and the reps say the little dealers can’t keep quiet.

  • Garmanarnar

Stop giving this man a platform.

  • that_guy

So where is the news on this new glock? Its “tomorrow” now

  • Vitsaus

Gentlemen… it appears that the game has officially been changed. What a time to be alive.

    • Bill

  • nova3930

So it’s a Glock loaded with Vickers gear? Guess I’m just not enough of a Glock person….as in I’m not at all a Glock person….

    • Rodney Jenkins

      What do you carry?

      • nova3930

sig p320c usually. if I can go owb I’ll step up to the full size or if I need deep concealment I’ll pocket carry a kahr pm9.

    • f

      rtf2 texture gen 3

  • Yeah yeah yeah, but, will it come with Larry endorsed CriscoClean®©™
