The AAC & H&R (both Remington-owned companies) collaborated a couple of years ago to develop an ultra-light suppressible hunting rifle chambered in .330 AAC BLK and developed the single shot AAC / H&R Handi-Rifle with plastic furniture and a short barrel. Zach wrote …

AAC H&R Handi Rifle in 300BLK. Just picked it up for a great deal. It is unbelievably compact and light weight. It has a crisp trigger and is a blast to shoot! Can’t wait to put a can on it.

Zach, sent us another photo of it once you get that can!

Where is the rest of it?

    That’s what she said.

  • iksnilol

Is it a SBR? Seems awfully short. Too bad you can’t have SBRs here in Norway, if I could, I would probably chop a bolt action 7.62×39 and add a folding stock.

    • jimmie

Not an sbr, i think its a 16.1 inch barrel with a youth sized stock.

    • Cymond

A simple break-action is also extremely short & compact, so it makes the carbine look smaller. The barrel almost touches the stock/grip!

      • iksnilol

I know, it is so amazing. Though I like having more than one shot, I guess if I didn’t have a stupid length restriction (84 cm = 33.08 inches) I would go with a ridicilously short break action for hunting. With a folding or sliding stock + a red dot or something.

I see it now, the angle it was leaning at made the barrel seem shorter. A closer look and I see it now.

          Google FAVS Stradivari. 😉

          • iksnilol

It’s so short :D. Even the longest version is illegal in Norway 🙁

          • Giolli Joker

Maybe you can get the MK version muzzle brake on the L model to reach the limit…. or a suppressor (is that legal?).

          • iksnilol

Suppressors completely uncontrolled. Length follows the stupid “shortest fireable length” rule. In other words, if a folding/collapsing stock puts it under the legal length it is illegal. I don’t know whether a folding stock that disables the trigger is legal or not. Nobody has asked as far as I know.

But the point with the FAVS is that it is short, so making it longer would sort of make it pointless.

The angle of the rifle in the photo is also pointed away making it appear shorter.

    What’s .330 AAC BLK?

    • RICH

THE .300 BLACKOUT (whisper) IS A ROUND MADE UP BY AAC, ADVANCED ARMAMENT CORP. IT IS A SHORTENED 5.56/.223 CASETHAT IS NECKED UP TO TAKE A .30 CALIBER BULLET. YOU CAN GET IT ALL THE WAY UP TO A 210gr BULLET. THE ROUND CAN BE LOADED ‘SUBSONIC’ WHICH WILL ALLOW IT TO BE ‘QUITETED’ QUITE SUBSTANTIALLY WITH A SUPPRESSOR (SILENCER).
CHECK IT OUT ON YOU TUBE…. YOU SHOULD BE IMPRESSED BY IT.
      HOPE I ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION……

      • gunslinger

so .330 AAC BLK = .300 AAC BLK?

        • Cal S.

Yeah, no such thing as .330 BLK. It’s .300 BLK. Maybe a mix-up with .338 Lapua.

  • BillC

    .330, huh? Also, it’s 300 BLK, not .300

  • 1911doc

A friend of mine just bought one on Friday. Looks like a nice little shooter.

  • Redhed

I have one too. It’s like a tiny little pirate gun! My son is ten and it’s great for him with the 7.62SDN6 silencer. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

    • RICH

DOES THAT AAC SUPPRESSOR WORK PRETTY GOOD WITH THE .300 BLK ? I’M WAITING FOR MY STAMP FROM ATF. HAVE YOU TRIED THAT SUPPRESSOR WITH THE 5.56/.223 ROUND YET ?
      THANKS……

      • Redhed

Yes, it does great double duty, even triple. I use it on blackout, .223 and .308.

  • uisconfruzed

I’d like to try one behind my TBAC can!

  • Mike

Very sexy rifle. I would like it in a “cheaper” caliber, 5.56, 7.62×39, or handgun rounds.

    • Phil Elliott

Already have a Handi rifle Bull BBL. in 5.56. except it’s got a 1 in 12 twist so will only shoot light bullets like 55 gr. or less
