Phoenix Technology’s New Color Selection

Phoenix1

At SHOT Show I spent time at the Phoenix Technology booth trying out their new KickLite stock which is designed to reduce felt recoil by directing it away from the shooter by utilizing a unique spring system, but the company has a number of other new items available this year as well. In fact, they’re broadening their product line by making items available in a variety of new colors. They’re expanding both their solids and prints in colors that cover the fun customization spectrum as well as the useful side of things.

Forend

OD Green, Black and Dark Earth have been available for some time, but now this product will be available in pink, orange, camo, a tan-and-chocolate-brown print, and a bright green-and-black print. The forends are made to fit the Mossberg 500 and Remington 870 and have the following features:

“* Rugged construction with deep grooves for sure grip and enhanced weapon control in all situations

* Injection molded of premium glass-filled nylon

* Wrench included for installation (wrench will not work for disassembly of existing forends with recessed slide nut tube)

* Will not work with Mossbergs with original forends in

* Made in the USA” (from Phoenix Technology)

KickLite Recoil Reduction 6-Position Shotgun Stock

The KickLite 6-Position Shotgun Stock will be coming out in new colors as well. It currently comes in OD Green, Dark Earth, and Black; new colors will include pink, orange, gray, and tan.

“The Phoenix Technology KickLite 6 position stock…is designed and engineered to absorb 40 – 50% of the felt recoil of shotgun loads.  The patented KickLite system is a fully integrated and maintenance free system comprised of an aluminum shaft and heavy duty spring fitted into the commercial spec tube.  Allowing up to 3/4″”  rearward travel of the pistol grip upon discharge, the felt impact is greatly reduced allowing for quicker follow up shots, reduced fatigue and improved accuracy.  A built in hood eliminates any possible ‘pinch points’ during compression.” (from Phoenix Technology)

And if you’re looking to customize your shotgun further, Phoenix Technology also offers cheek risers, shot shell carriers, pistol grips, and recoil pads, among others. Their items are good quality and made in the USA, and the team members I met at SHOT were both friendly and happy to answer my questions at length. Is Kick-lite new? Could have sworn it’d been around long enough to get discredited already. Maybe that’s just the tactical shotgun stocks.
