Hyper Extension Rapid Fire

Jorge Llames is a competitive shooter. In the picture above, he is competing in the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire. He has a unique technique to locking his arm. He is double jointed and hyper extends his arm when he shoots. The picture above really exaggerates the unnatural looking bend. Here is another picture.

The gun above is a Match Gun MG2 for Rapid Fire.

Not tactical enough for this crowd…

    • gunslinger

      i think it’s the visor.
how slap a 5.11, glock or ar15 bolt logo on it.

      you can then operate

    • Madcap_Magician

      Operating operator operates very tactically.

  • Ron Fox

    That looks bizarre.

Bio-mechanically speaking, there is no such thing as ‘double-jointed’, kids… only extreme flexibility due to proactive stretching or pliability of the joint capsule due to lack of support tendons/musculature.

    • This has been another episode of “Now You Know!” Thanks Dr. Grit!

No one wants to hear any of that wonder science voodoo. He’s got 2 joints!

The “pepperbox” look of the pistol from the muzzle, with its balancing weights is quite cool.

I was thinking it looked a lot like something out of an ’80s scifi movie. 🙂

      • echelon

I come in peace. And you go in pieces…#$%hole…

      • Giolli Joker

        Yep, it could be…
I guess even Nikita (the movie) was employing a match gun (maybe in .32WC) because it looked cool…
        (BTW, are you from Shannara?)

        • allannon

I get that a lot, but no. 🙂 My nick predates the novel by a couple years.

Those guns are things of beauty. I wish this sport was more common in America.

    • iksnilol

      Vedkubber are beautiful now?

They are accurate I will give them that but I prefer a pustol with a conventional grip. Much more practical and easier to hold (the target grip has to be adjusted and fitted).

I do some shooting in a sport similar to this.

    No mutants allowed!

  • Cknarf

Still looks less stupid than the C-Clamp lol.

Edit: That is one wild looking handgun.

If the conversion is correct, it looks like this model sells for a little under $1600. Thought it would be a whole lot more expensive.

    Super human… with a spacegun.

    Gentlemen, the future is now.

    Double Dang.
