    $298? What?

    • Eric

      My thoughts exactly!

    • Alex

Compare the costs and features to the KAC 45 degree flip up front and rear set which go for $281.

whenever i to a tactical review of tactical sights, i always wear tactical gloves. it’s just more tactical-ful that way.

on a more serious note, though, these don’t look that rugged (they could be… i haven’t fondled them), they don’t look like they really lock into their fully open position with that second joint (or so it seems from the video). i like the idea of some of diamondhead’s other products. this one, though…. yeah. seems a little more tacti-cool…

dueck defense makes a better product. not folding though :/

  • ColaBox

    *Sigh*

I don’t see the point of the second joint in there. It adds unnecessary complexity increasing cost and the possibility of breakage.

I thought the point of 45 degree sights are that they don’t interfere with a scope. So making these flip up and down doesn’t really add that much.

It is just making options for people. Having Dueck defense or some other angled BUIS, they stick out when the gun is stored. This is just providing people with variety, the spice of life.

      • iksnilol

Good point, I like variety. Variety is like chocolates. You find a couple you like for every one you don’t.

Sadly scopes are very little varied.

Have you compared the amount of SFP scopes and FFP scopes under 500$?

  • Airman596

It’s a TFB tradition: Comments to every post about a new product are “what’s the point?” or “it’s too expensive!”

    • 1leggeddog

      And with good reason!

    • Dracon1201

So you’re saying that is a good/acceptable price? Think what you are getting. Think what you could get for $300. How much ammo would that buy for you?

  • Steve Truffer

Or you can buy low profile 45 degree irons for $45…

  • Drapetomanius

Those are very fine sights. Why, I would pay as much as $100 for such a setup.

  • Chase

My local gun shop got me these for $238 plus tax. They are very robust and fold nicely under my Leupold Mark 6 1-6X.
