Sako 90th Anniversary Model

The Finnish rifle manufacturer Sako (now owned by Beretta) was started in 1921 and turns 90 years old this year. The 90th anniversary gun is a beautiful Sako Model 85 chambered in .450 Rigby.

The only ice sculpture I saw at SHOT.

Very beautiful rifle; wish I could afford it. Maybe they could eventually make one in 416 Rigby caliber also.

It is nice to see a large african caliber in other than a Mauser type action although I certainly ungerstand the popularity of the claw type extractor on the Mauser Action among African Professional Hunters.

I hope the Sako 85 Large action starts a trend among action makers
