Steyr AUG NATO conversion kit review

EmptorMaven has reviewed the NATO conversion kit for the Steyr AUG SA. The kit allows the use of STANAG (AR-15) magazines.

Steyr has always offered the NATO version as an option to military customers, but no country, as far as I know, has chosen to adopt it over the standard AUG.

    Dispite the change in the commercal market the Austrian use the old mags and the AUG has one of the worst mag changes in any modern Assault rifle.

    Will this work on the Microtech AUG copy?

    Mad, I don’t think so. The Microtech is not compaible internally with the AUG (or so I have been told … Microtech are a company who refuse to discuss their products with me)
