Palm pistol a medical device!

Snowflakes In Hell has the word that the Palm Pistol will be classified as a medical device by the FDA. It is designed with people in mind who could not use a regular firearm, such as invalids or the elderly.

The inventor said:

All the “experts” said the Palm Pistol would be AOW and I proved them wrong. All the “experts” said the Palm Pistol would never be classified as a medical device by FDA and I proved them wrong.

I still have my doubts that it will not be reclassified as an AOW… but we shall see.

As a Freelance Writer, I was contacted by Matt Carmel after an article I had done on the problems experienced by the disabled in shooting traditional firearms was published in Concealed Carry Magazine. I’ve been following his battle with the government trying to get his product licensed as a medical device. I love people who march to the beat of a different drummer. cboyles@aol.com

how would this ever be an AOW?

It’s not designed to be shot with 2 hands.
It does not look like something that it isn’t. (it does look wierd, but it’s not trying to look like something else, like a cell phone gun).

It’s a pistol, unless maybe it has a smooth bore barrel.

dogon1013, I am sure it has rifling. It is ‘odd’ and un-gun which is why I think BAFT will take affront to it. Hopefully not, but they seem to be a law unto themselves.

    BAFT has already approved it.

    jdun1911, your local pharmacy ;)

I have only seen computer renderings. I think it will be a while before we see photos, let along the actual product.
