Bayonets are so 2007

The modern Soldier of Fortune prefers the “full auto” chainsaw rail attachment over the old fashioned single stab “blade” or “spike” bayonet. It makes the bayonet pistol look impotent!

Now available for the Saiga-12 shotgun (note the 20 round drum mag)

Thanks jdun1911 for the tip.

The Swiss 1914 Engineer’s Bayonet only has a 20″ blade.

However, I have been asked to make a bayonet mount for a chainsaw, so the owner can mount a bayonet on his chainsaw.

    FTW.

this implement makes perfect sense for deployment. Gather firewood, help build barricades, cut through locked thick wooden door locks or thin walls in urban combat. Give this to a combat engineer and they will show you how to use it effectively.

Agreed with Bogar, its cool seeing a working prototype of the chainsaw gun.

You guys are funny with your zombie logic…Since most zombie movies the blood or fluid is the infecting agent. A chainsaw might not be the best way to keep yourself clean of bloods and fluids…just a guess. Kill the zombie infect yourself woot!

    Awesome. Nice work.

I don’t get all the people calling them stupid.

Yes they aren’t a practical weapon, if you really want to kill things they are not the best option.

If you just want to make a fantasy item as a side project and don’t intend to kill things with it who cares if it isn’t an effective weapon.

As a random fun project for something to do they are really really cool.

Terrible weapon for fighting the Z. Chainsaw = tainted blood spraying everywhere = you get infected.

But it’s still cool as hell. And since the likelihood of WWZ ever happening outside the pages of a great work of fiction are slim to none, my inner geek is demanding this.

While at first glance it seems to be a great zombie weapon, it is actually a very poor one. All that noise would draw way too much attention. One of the first rules of zombie weaponry, Silence is Golden.
