Kel-Tec RFB Carbine shipping in December

I missed a press release that Kel-Tec issued last month. The 18″ barreled version of the bullpup RFB Carbine will be shipping next month.

In order to keep the costs down the rifle will not include sights, although it will include a Picatinny rail, and “will ship in an in-expensive box”.

I got to see one of these in action at the AAC Silencer Shoot in Georgia about a month ago. It performed flawlessly with a suppressor, though it got very hot and very dirty after 300 or so rounds with the can on it. It is a great looking rifle and handles well, but the price-tag is apparently starting around $1600, which seems high for an, as yet, unproven battle rifle.
