.22 Hornet: calibre review

The Shooting Times (UK) have written a review on the .22 Hornet.150Px-22 Hornet Hdy 40

It achieves great results and is economical both with powder charges and noise, so why is the .22 Hornet so underrated? We review a calibre with a sting in its tail.

“Despite mild velocity figures and its long, tapered, outdated case design, the Hornet still bumbles along in sales terms.”

Many varmint hunters swear by the .22 Hornet. Not long ago I had a shooter doing his best to persuade me that I needed a hornet :)
