WATCHTOWER Firearms APACHE Coyote Double-Stack 1911

WATCHTOWER Firearms has released the APACHE Coyote, a new variant of its double-stack 1911 pistol, featuring a Matte Copper PVD coating. This finish provides a non-reflective, copper-toned appearance and enhances resistance to wear and corrosion compared to standard finishes. There are only a few images to share, but it looks great in my opinion.

The APACHE Coyote is constructed from pre-hardened 4140 carbon steel for the frame and 416R stainless steel for the slide and barrel. It has a 4.25-inch slide and a 4.6-inch barrel, maintaining the same dimensions as the original APACHE. The pistol includes tactical-profile grips, a double-stack magwell, a trigger pull rated at approximately 4.5 pounds, and ambidextrous safety controls, designed for improved handling and reliability.

The design is said to prioritize precision and durability, with components machined to tight tolerances. The pistol is compatible with standard 1911 holsters and aftermarket parts, offering versatility for competitive shooters and tactical users. Sights are standard three-dot configuration, with options for aftermarket upgrades - as shown in the feature image.
