If you’re new to the series, this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question – is this Gat a sweet deal or only have Fudd appeal?  Each week the TFB staff weighs in with their thoughts, but readers get the final say in the poll at the bottom of each article.

It’s no secret that the last couple of days has been stressful for those in Simi Valley California. A good friend of TFB’s, Taran Butler of Taran Tactical Innovations has been impacted by the Wildfires in California. The TTI Range succumbed to the fires, however, no people or animals were harmed as the fires consumed the TTI Property.

Teemu Rintala from Finland, one of the World’s best rifle and shotgun shooters. Nordic Champion, and now aiming for World Rifle Shoot in Russia 2017. I really hope the best practical rifle shooters from all around the World will come to this competition, but I guess that for various reasons some will refuse (or won’t be allowed) to go.

Even though I’m not a competitive shooter, I can appreciate quality competition gear. Especially when it can be repurposed into daily carry use. The Taran Tactical Innovations (TTI) magazine baseplates are a good example of how competitions like 3-Gun matches continue to influence defensive gun technology.
