SilencerCo’s New SCO Slide For Gen 1-3 Glocks
SilencerCo is back at their pistol work again, this time with something that will hopefully scratch the itch for those who want a Maxim 9 but just can’t find a way to get their hands on one. While this slide won’t convert your Glock into a Maxim 9, the design of the new SCO Slide is heavily inspired by SilencerCo’s integrally suppressed 9mm pistol. The new slide is also going to come pre-cut, ready to direct-mount one optic of your choice from a list of some of the most popular pistol red dots currently available.

Never has a firearm looked so similar to the Heckler & Koch G11 as this suppressed Tavor TS12 shotgun, or did I get that wrong? The market for shotgun suppressors isn’t huge, in fact, it’s quite limited. The one pictured is the SilencerCo Salvo 12, which can be customized to keep a balance between sound, weight, and length by adding or removing sections. The build material is aluminum and stainless steel.
SilencerCo Issues Immediate Suppressor Safety Recall
As sad as it is to hear, sometimes manufacturing defects happen and make their way out the door. Today SilencerCo has announced an immediate safety recall for OMEGA 300, OMEGA 36M, HYBRID 46, HYBRID 46M, and HARVESTER EVO purchased between June 1, 2023, through October 9, 2023, including ones sent to SilencerCo dealers. SilencerCo recently discovered a welding defect on these specific models of suppressors that could pose a threat to the user through catastrophic failure of the suppressor. SilencerCo has recommended that you immediately stop using your suppressor if it is indicated that it falls within the safety recall window, which you can check by entering your serial number on this page. The full text of the recall is below for your convenience.
