Blackwater and DI Optical Partner Up to Produce Optics

Blackwater Worldwide the last couple of years has refocused its efforts on the interior of the firearms industry by producing more and more consumer products like ammunition. Now, Blackwater Worldwide has initiated a strategic partnership with DI Optical Co. Ltd (a South Korea-based optical company) which produces both optics and laser aiming devices. The RP-1 Red Dot and TMF-1 Red Dot are now available through the Blackwater online store.

Friday Night Lights: GRD Machine Gun Optic DCL110AD-3X

Just before last SHOT Show, fellow TFB writer Austin mentioned that he was going to bring a post sample M16 for us to play with. Check out Luke’s article about that. Well, I talked to Austin and he agreed to make a second post sample lower so we could use it with the Franklin Armory CSW Kit. Cool, a spade grip machine gun. But what optic do we put on such a weapon? A machine gun optic of course! So I bought a DCL110AD-3X just to put on that weapon. But the machine gun optic is not just for machine guns, you can use it on other guns as well.

POTD: I Can See Clearly Now . . .

With a little bit of ridiculousness thrown in, Strike Industries put a SureFire 60rd magazine on to this SBR. They should have gone for gold and put a drum or 100rd SureFire mag on it. Oh and they added a DI Optical DCL-120 optic onto it. If its good enough for a 50 cal machine gun, it should be good enough for this. They need a Hellfighter on it now. Just to round out the entire package of over compensating.
