All B&Ts in 9mm are great platforms to carry Aimpoint red dots, and I guess that’s the subject of today’s Photo Of The Day. We have the B&T SPC9 with GBRS Group’s Hydra V2 Mount Kit. The kit carries an Aimpoint T-1 and a Steiner DBAL. With its 2.91” optic centerline, this mount sits too high for my preference, but if I were carrying other gear - like Night Vision Goggles - maybe I’d take that back. The suppressor is A-Tec’s SMG suppressor, a fitting name. Top center is Spuhr’s new RDF Aimpoint Flip & Magnifier Mount, with an Aimpoint H-2 and a 3xMAG I think.

This is a new version of the B&T APC9, a carbine-sized 9mm SMG that comes packaged with armor-penetrating 9mm solid copper ammunition called "RWS ACTION SE Gen. II SXF," developed and produced by the German company RWS GmbH. This combination is capable of defeating Level IIIA body armor at distance (50-75m). This Glock mag-compatible variant of the APC9 offers exceptional precision, low recoil, and enhanced lethality, making it one of the most capable law enforcement and military SMGs on the market. This latest contract highlights the evolution of 9mm as an effective combat round, bridging the gap between pistol-caliber carbines and rifle performance.

We begin our Photo Of The Day with a modern 9x19mm submachine gun, an automatic knife and some carbon fiber knuckles. This is my own B&T APC9, with an Aimpoint CompM5b red dot and 3x Magnifier. The barrel has an H&K MP5 compatible 3-lug which is very convenient if you want to run the APC9 with a suppressor. In fact, I think this is my favorite type of attachment, at least for 9 mm subguns.
