Daniel Defense MK18 Released in 24KT Gold Collector’s Edition
Custom & Collectable Firearms has introduced the 24KT Gold Daniel Defense MK18, a limited-edition release of just 50 sequentially numbered rifles. Each MK18 is chambered in 5.56 NATO and features a 10.3-inch barrel, offering the performance and reliability associated with the Daniel Defense name.

The rifle is distinguished by a 24KT gold-plated quad rail handguard, along with a matching gold-plated trigger, trigger pin, and hammer pin. Each lower receiver is individually engraved with its serial number, ensuring authenticity and collectability. The Golden handguard is pretty easy to spot, and if you look closely, you can see some Golden spots on the upper and lower receiver.
Every rifle also ships with a Custom & Collectable Firearms challenge coin and a certificate of authenticity signed by the company’s owner.
With gold valued in the region around $4,000 per ounce, the 24KT Gold MK18 is said to combine precision engineering with luxury craftsmanship for a truly unique collector’s piece.
The optic and gold magazine pictured are not included, but I’m sure that can be sourced separately if you want to go “all in”. I recently played around with a golden spray can, for completely other reasons, but the trailer park option would be to go for that.
