New for 2026 from Israeli FAB Defense is the AMP pistol conversion kit. One of the main features that sets the AMP apart from the company’s KPOS pistol conversion kits is the open top design, which makes it compatible with pistols with slide-mounted optics. There are also PRO models that come with a removable aluminum top cover with a Picatinny rail that converts the chassis into a closed top configuration.

Smith & Wesson rolled out six new products at SHOT Show 2026, most of which are variations on existing platforms rather than clean-sheet designs. Nothing earth-shattering here, but there are some practical additions worth covering.

Spectre Ballistics International is down in the basement of SHOT Show with a very cool chassis—their first-ever in the rimfire world, built for the CZ 457 rimfire rifle.

Derringers are stealthy weapons—they’re small, so they can be hidden away. But that stealthiness can vanish quickly when you pull the trigger, thanks to their short barrels—these are loud pistols. But Third Echelon Development, out of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is working on an answer to this problem; they’ve developed a suppressor to fit Bond Arms derringers.

Tippmann Ordnance showed up at SHOT Show 2026 with two new products that sit at opposite ends of the practicality spectrum. One is a customer-requested barrel option for their existing .22LR Gatling gun. The other is a .380 pump-action pistol that ships in a treasure chest and looks like it belongs in a steampunk pirate larp collection.

Safariland Group unveiled two new products at SHOT Show 2026 that solve distinct problems in the duty and tactical space. Full disclosure: tactical gear isn't my usual beat, so I'm going to stick to reporting what these products do rather than pretending I run a duty belt daily.

Infante Ultrasonics has been a consistent presence at SHOT Show, and every time I stop by their booth it's full of good people and friendly conversations. This year was extra special because I finally got to meetGreg Infante in person. SDS Arms had several interesting new items on display at SHOT Show across their brands. The Inglis 2035 Hi Power adds 2011-ish upgrades to the venerable BHP platform. Additionally, Military Armament Corporation has a new price-conscious MP-5 handguard flashlight, and Spandau Arms has an R700-compatible bolt action rifle.

Welcome back to another edition of Concealed Carry Corner. Last week, we took a look at some of the top items to avoid when carrying concealed. This week, with freezing cold blizzards hitting most of the northern sections of the country, it reminds me just how tough it can be to conceal your regular carry loadout under a number of heavy layers. It's important to really think about what works and what doesn't. Let's take a closer look at the struggles of carrying in cold weather.

Back in the summer of 2025 we got the first word that Hakan Spuhr, the Swedish inventor and master machinist who brought us innovations like the Spuhr stock, his unique mounting interface system and some of the best optics mounts available, had developed an AR-15 upper receiver. At the Mile High booth I was excited to get a close up look at one of the uppers and have Hakan kindly talk me through his design’s features. 

Burris has updated their Veracity line of riflescopes by deleting the internal digital screen and introducing new reticles as well as a controls design called RED (Rapid Engagement Design) that features aggressive knurling along the power ring, turrets, and turret caps. The RED upgrade will be applied to other Burris scopes as well and products featuring this industrial design can be distinguished by the red ring behind the magnification adjustment ring.

Adams Arms are well known for their line of piston guns but what caught my eye at their booth at this year’s SHOT Show was their new side-charging rifle. Last year Adams Arms was taken over by OEM manufacturer Alexandria Pro-Fab, who had previously sold the side charging components as kits and rifles.

Almost every American AK blogger and influencer could be found at the SHOT Show 2026 booth of a company called Roswell Rifle Works because they have released a US-made reproduction of the Russian SR-3M rifle, the holy grail of 9x39 guns. The Roswell Rifle Works SR-3M replica is 95% true to the original. The only changes are the addition of the M-LOK slots on the handguard, replacement of the original 3-lug suppressor mount with 14×1 LH muzzle threads, slight design alterations of some internal parts to simplify the manufacturing and, of course, being designed for the US civilian market, it is semi-auto only and the non-NFA variants come without a vertical front grip.

At SHOT Show 2026, Steiner introduced a new enclosed emitter handgun red dot sight called MPS-C. Based on the MPS design, this new red dot is noticeably shorter (1.89” vs 1.46”) and lighter (2.05 oz vs 1.13 oz) than its elder sibling. At the same time, the MPS-C has slightly larger objective lens dimensions (21x19mm vs 20x16mm).

Every year, SHOT Show has a theme, and this year, it’s The Year Of The Suppressor. Aftermarket parts purveyor UTG Pro is gearing up to be ready for it, starting with new handguards for the MP5, built to accommodate a suppressor.

Last year at SHOT 2025 we broke the exciting news that SNT Defense were going to establish a base in the US and begin selling some of their iconic guns. These things take time to set up but the wait shouldn’t be too much longer.

Stopping by the ATI booth at SHOT 2026, I spotted something unusual and intriguing, the new Schmeisser S50 MLE, a new magazine adaptor which extends standard Glock mags to up to 50 rounds. Partnering again with Schmeisser, ATI will be selling the extension adaptors in the US with shipping set to begin in February,

Probably best known for their 80% Glock frames, Geisler Defence has something new in the pipeline. A modular, adaptable frame which lets you swap out segments to lengthen or shorten the length of your Glock’s pistol grip. Want a compact concealable pistols, with Geisler Defence’ new modular frame you can shorten the grip. Want to add a flared magwell to your carry pistol because you have a 3 gun match at the weekend? Then you can throw on your flared Geisler Defence grip segment.

While SHOT Show is always focused on new products, you occasionally see cool older stuff on display too—especially if you visit the Navy Arms booth. Last year, they had beautiful vintage Smith & Wessons on display, acquired after the French forest service surplused them out. This year, they had more French kit on display—sniper rifles and service pistols.

Charter Arms is not a company that’s given to change—they still sell the same model revolver that the Son of Sam made so famous a generation ago, the Bulldog. But for 2026, they have added four new made-in-America lines to their catalog, including one called the Boomer. We’re still wondering if that’s intended as a dig or not …

Last year, I wrote up a day in the life of a TFB writer at SHOT Show. Sharing the new products is fun, but this show is an experience, and that does not always come through in the coverage. SHOT exists to put basically everyone in the gun industry into a room together, so here is a field guide to the people of SHOT Show.

SHOT Show has something for every budget, and that includes Leupold, who brought their latest riflescope and rangefinding binocular to the annual firearms industry show in Las Vegas. Here’s what these new optics are about.

When it comes to American firearms manufacturers, few have a lineup as wide as Ruger’s. Their SHOT Show booth was a packed madhouse when I checked in on Wednesday for that reason—they have something for almost everyone, so everyone goes to visit. And almost all of those lines saw some additions for 2026. Here’s a look at what’s new (or kind of new) this year—except for the Harrier AR-15, which we already told you about here. We will be taking a separate look at that rifle later.

Falco Holsters announced updates to their Timeless series leather holsters at SHOT Show 2026 alongside two new hybrid IWB designs currently in development. The Timeless line already dominates their sales, and Falco's doubling down with reinforcement upgrades aimed at retention and durability.

RCBS brought their MatchMaster Precision Case Trimme r to SHOT Show 2026 alongside a new Multi-Cartridge Reloading Block and displayed several prototypes to gauge shooter interest. RCBS partnered with Henderson Precision on the trimmer, combining Henderson's design expertise with RCBS's manufacturing capabilities.

One thing is for sure at SHOT Show: Sightmark is going to bring out new budget-friendly optics, and they’re back at it again this year with two new prismatic scopes in their Strikon line. The new Strikon VMP 1-4x22 SFP Fiber scope and the smaller Strikon FMP 1x18 micro-prism are both available now, offering a lot of optic for reasonable cash. And they have new budget-friendly thermals to boot.

Bergara had several new rifles for 2026.  The Cima Pro spares no expense to create an ultralight hunting platform, and the Platinum Stalker takes a more traditional approach. Bergara’s new silencer, the BTi30, was also on display.

Magpul has some new releases for 2026, including additional color options. Unlike past years, Magpul is not announcing as many new items at SHOT but will be announcing them over the course of the year as they are ready to be released. So while there are a few things to go over today, you will have to stay tuned to see what Magpul is dropping later in the year.

Franklin Armory had several new things at SHOT Show Industry Day At The Range 2026, including the new Prevail bolt action rifle. This gun blends the best parts of controlled feed and push feed actions. We now have some rounds through the gun and can explain better how it works.
