LifeSizePotato is the YouTube channel of a collector of rare, antique, unusual, and high quality handguns, which hosts video reviews of the weapons he collects. This week, he stepped outside of his box a little bit to review the Strike One handgun, a modern polymer commercial grade handgun unlike his regular features.
As covered in the video, the Strike One is an unconventional handgun in that it has a non-tilting-barrel recoil operated action. Essentially, the weapon is locked by a falling block that keeps the barrel and slide moving together for a short distance. As the slide group moves rearward, a cam track much like a conventional tilting barrel Browning design moves the locking block down and out of the way, allowing the slide and barrel to separate.
UPDATE: Steve says, I agree with some of the commentators that you should always consider a gun loaded and avoid pointing it at yourself, even in a gun review.
