After 3 successful years on the market with the Gen 3 folding stock adapter, Law Tactical brought their newest side-folding adapter, made specifically to fit the CSASS for display at NRAAM 2018. The limited-edition Winkler-Law Tactical SURV blade also made an appearance.
The CSASS Folding Stock Adapter
Similar to the original Gen 3 adapter, the CSASS version also has a low hinge to reduce interference (knuckle busting) when charging the firearm, accepts a standard mil-spec buffer retainer pin, and is made from 4140 hardened steel. A set screw prevents the adapter from working it’s way loose from the lower receiver and the QD sling attachment point make the single point sling a viable option, even when the adapter is folded.
To install the adapter, only a few parts are required. The tool-less bolt carrier extension allows for easy maintenance, while the flange and replaceable O-rings provide for easy installation and prevent additional damage to the adapter when in the folded position.
The CSASS folding stock adapter is a first in the H&K platform for the team at Law Tactical, who are excited about future possibilities. No release date or MSRP are available on the CSASS-specific Folding Stock Adapter at this time.
Winkler-Law Tactical SURV Blade
Known for their high performance knives, Daniel Winkler of Winkler Knives II teamed up with Law Tactical to bring the SURV blade to market for those interested in a survival/field knife of superior quality.
The blade’s 80Crv2 carbon steel construction and textured Micarta grips create a durable knife that can last for many years. The 5″ blade has a chisel point grind for prying possibilities. Hidden storage in the tang and a multi-wear sheath system round out this collaboration between the two companies.
The SURV is a limited-production run and all knives are individually numbered. MSRP is $479.00.
