In the firearms community, most people probably know Stack-On as a company that low-cost lock boxes and metal storage cabinets. For many people where dollars are scarce, Stack-On offers a reasonable way to secure your guns without breaking the bank.
For 2017, the company is offering a new reloading bench that aims to provide a good quality work area without the need to dip into the retirement account.
The Adjustable Height Pro Reloading Bench has room for a press or two plus a fair amount of supplies and related tools. As the name suggests, the bench can be adjusted from a height of 29″ to 41″. This makes it easy to set up to the correct height for people of all sizes whether they are standing or sitting on a stool.
The legs and frame are made os steel with a gloss black epoxy finish. The work top is 1.25″ multi-ply birch wood while the storage shelf underneath and above the work surface are made of steel. The unit has a 500 pound weight capacity.
Stack-On states the unit is “ready to assemble” and ships via UPS (not freight like some oversized products.) It includes a pegboard, leveling feet and wall/floor mounting hardware.
I had a chance to check the demo model out at the SHOT Show and thought it was well made. It seemed solid, though I would still want to tie it into the wall studs out of an abundance of caution. The company expects to ship these in March, but has not announced an MSRP.
