Musical Targets: Mary Had a Little Lamb (VIDEO)

I’ve been waiting many moons to get my hands on a set of Musical Targets and I finally received them and built a homemade stand. The Musical Targets system is a set of steel plates cut thusly so that each plate emits a musical tone when shot. I received a two octave set which allows me to shoot in C and G Major, since I have an F#. They are considering adding more sharps and flats but this is a great start.

In my first song, Mary Had a Little Lamb, I’m just warming up and plan to shoot more complex songs in the future. Also, I think the Musical Targets system is a great way to get more kids involved in the shooting sports since I found that shooting songs is a really fun challenge.

In this short video I’m shooting a Volquartsen Superlite 10/22, Leupold Deltapoint red dot scope, and .22LR ammo by Winchester. If you have any song requests, please leave them in the comments!
