Seeing firearms now subsequently banned from being imported reminds me of a simpler time when surplus rifles were actually cheap. While I never had the opportunity to buy a Vepr or Saiga during this time, I have to admit they did pique my curiosity.

I’ve always been on the fence about magazine-fed shotguns. Maybe my interest, in general, has been dying out, but I could never really bring myself to buy one. Granted this particular variant is sporting a muzzle brake that seems like a 3 gun enthusiast’s wet dream. Granted I’m sure it’s low recoil, but at what point do we say no more when it comes to chambers that are actually useful on a muzzle brake.

What do you think? Is this rare limited Vepr-12 worth it as a collector’s item for just under $2.5k or are you better off saving that money for a rainy day? As always I leave it up to you, the readers, to decide.
