Maven Introduces Two New Binoculars To The B Series Of Optics

The Maven Outdoor Equipment Company just launched two new binoculars to complement their B Series of binocs, both with a couple different magnification options within each new offering. The first of the new introductions, the B1.2 is actually an updated version of Maven’s B.1 binoculars and is available in 8x42mm, or 10x42mm. Maven explained that the new B1.2 uses upgraded materials and features, as well as weighing in less than the original B.1. The second new Maven B Series binocular is the B.6, which is offered in 10x50mm, and 12x50mm. The B.6 was made to fill the gap between the 42mm and 56mm objective lenses. Maven’s full press release can be read below.

Maven Outdoor Equipment Company, a Wyoming-based direct-to-consumer brand known for offering world-class optics at affordable prices, has expanded its award-winning line of B Series Binoculars by introducing two new models to the series – the B1.2 (8x42mm and 10x42mm) and the B.6 (10x50mm and 12x50mm).

The B1.2 is an upgraded version of the brand’s flagship B.1 Binocular. It was designed with the best features of the award-winning B.1 along with all-new and enhanced components to improve its performance.

A larger and wider Schmidt-Pechan prism and upgraded lens coatings are among the upgrades that allow the B1.2 to offer a wider field of view, higher light transmission, and a more compact frame than the original model. The final result is a premium optic that utilizes 42mm objective lenses with extra-low dispersion ED glass in a build that weighs only 26.8 oz and measures just 5.7” x 5.2” x 2.2”.

Despite the enhanced components and performance, Maven is offering the B1.2 at the same price as the original B.1 (8x42mm: $900; 10x42mm: $950).

The new B.6 binocular was introduced as the first B Series model with 50mm objective lenses. One of the most modern optical systems on the market, it is among the brightest mid-sized binoculars Maven offers thanks to its wide-angle Schmidt-Pechan prism, extra-low dispersion ED glass and upgraded coatings. At only 6.5” in length and 30.6 oz in weight, the B.6 is a great choice for those looking to minimize size and weight in an optic without sacrificing brightness and field of view.

    The B.6 is available in 10x50mm for $1,000 and 12x50mm for $1,050.
“One of the key benefits of our direct-to-consumer business model is that we can build
products without cutting corners to reduce our cost,” said Brendon Weaver, Co-Founder and Head of Design and Marketing for Maven. “This means we can use the best components possible and that’s exactly what we did with the new B1.2 and B.6. Plus, we’re able to do that without passing additional costs to our consumers.”

With the introduction of the B1.2 and the B.6, Maven has rounded out its B Series lineup to now offer a full range of premium binoculars with compact, mid-size and full-size models available for any pursuit and adventure. Additionally, each model is covered by the brand’s unconditional lifetime warranty and can be fully customized with Maven’s Custom Optics Builder.
