If you want to stay alive, relevant, and make desirable products in the firearm industry, you need to have a pulse for what the shooter wants. EO Tech’s brand of optics, Vudu, has been punching out a lot of favorites lately in the riflescope space and they continued to add to that list with the unveiling of the EO Tech Vudu 1-8x24mm SFP (2nd Focal plane).

This optic is so new to the Vudu line-up of scopes that EO Tech only had a handful produced to bring to the NRA Annual Meetings this past weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana. A lot of consumers have been requesting a slightly stronger optic for awhile now (stronger than their 1-6x optic), and they delivered.

The EO Tech Vudu 1-8x24mm SFP riflescope has an MSRP of $1,449 and should hopefully be hitting the market very soon. It will be covered by the Advantage Vudu Warranty in the rare event something should happen as well. Some of the other specifications for this scope can be read below as presented by EO Tech:

The EO Tech Vudu 1-8x24mm SFP scope comes with an optional throw lever for those who enjoy that additional tool on their chosen optic. On the left side cap of the EO Tech Vudu 1-8x24mm SFP you have your lit reticle control. A simple Power Button is on top of the left side cap while the Plus Button is to the right and the Minus Button is the the left. This gives you the ability to increase or decrease the brightness of the central dot within the reticle as you see fit.

The red dot within the reticle is a very crisp and bright dot; not overpowering and it draws the eye really well. Some other characteristics of note as described by EO Tech can be read below as well:

As far as 1-8 power riflescopes go, this one has a slightly higher price tag, but you get what you pay for. This scope appears to be of great quality, but what do you, our readers, think?
