Seekins Precision has added a new rifle to their HAVAK family of rifles. This new bolt-action rifle is called HAVAK Bravo. The name Bravo probably derives from the KRG Bravo Chassis that was used in this build. The rifle is marketed as a “perfect platform for you to compete in the Precision Rifle Series production division“.

As you might have guessed, the new HAVAK Bravo rifle is built on a Seekins Precision Havak action. Here is how the company describes some of the features of this action:

The Havak action has a full diameter bolt and 4 locking lugs with 90-degree bolt throw. The bolt lugs, when locked in battery, are oriented at 3 and 9 o’clock. This is different from the typical 12 and 6 o’clock positioning that places the bottom lug directly behind the feed ramp where there is very little material in the action. Our Havak bolt design allows for a generous feed ramp situating the bolt lugs in the strongest area of the action.

Other features of the Havak action include the Armor-Blak coating, M-16 style extractor, helical extraction cam, 20 MOA top Picatinny rail and the integrated recoil lug.

The 24″ match grade barrel of HAVAK Bravo rifle is made of 416 stainless and features 5R rifling. The muzzle of the barrel is threaded with the 5/8-24 thread pitch and comes with a thread protector. The rifle is chambered in one of the following calibers: .308 Winchester, 6.5mm Creedmoor, 6mm Creedmoor or 6.5mm PRC. It is fed from a detachable AICS pattern box magazines. The rifle also comes with a Timney 510 trigger that is factory set at a 3 lb weight. The overall weight of the rifle is 9.8 lbs.

The HAVAK Bravo is available with three stock color options: matte black, FDE or OD green

According to the description on Seekins Precision website, each of these rifles is hand built, inspected and test fired with factory match ammunition. The 6.5mm PRC version of HAVAK Bravo rifle is listed on the company’s website at an MSRP of $1,995. Other caliber options cost $45 less – $1,950. The choice of color won’t affect the price.
