At the beginning of the current year, TFB’s Eric B reported about the release of the Seekins Precision ProComp 10X stock. Back then the stock was available for preorder and just recently the company announced that they have started the shipping of these new stocks. Let me briefly remind you of the features of this stock.

The ProComp 10x stock is made of a proprietary high impact polymer. The name ProComp stands for Professional Composites. The stock is compatible with only rifle length/pattern AR buffer tubes. Although this is a fixed stock, it is still possible to adjust the length of pull via installing recoil pad spacers. The stock comes with two such spacers of 1/4″ thickness. The recoil pad itself is made of rubber. The cheek rest is also adjustable. Here is how Seekins Precisions describes the adjustability of the ProComp 10X stock’s cheek rest:

Cheek piece adjustments are accomplished by utilizing our dual push button and clamping system which securely locks the cheek piece to the shooters desired height.

The Seekins Precision ProComp 10X stock also features three anti-rotation QD sling swivel sockets. The sockets along with all other steel parts feature ArmorBlak coating which is a proprietary variation of the black oxide finish. The overall weight of the stock is 19.8 oz.

The ProComp 10X stock is completely made in the USA. It is available on the manufacturer’s website at an MSRP of $195.

Overall, if the polymer that these stocks are made of performs as advertised, then the ProComp 10X stock looks to be a pretty good one. It has a rather simple yet functional and lightweight design. If you normally adjust your stocks once and don’t need to do quick field adjustments, then this might be a good solution for you. The only feature that I would add is the provision to mount a monopod.
