There is something magical about shooting or hunting in cold misty conditions. Thanks to Kevin for this photos of his Remington 700 in .338 Lapua.

It just looks like fun!!!! Reminds me of getting to Nockamixon State Park range at 7 or 8 A.M. on order to get a shooting bench for a noon start time on a cold winter Sunday. Had a 20 person coffee klatch before shooting.
Yup, got a spuhr mount on this Remington. Was making solid hits with about 70% repeatability on a 12" steel gong at 1600 meters, aka 1 mile. The mist was out when I shot this photo, but it was heavy rain we did most of the shooting. Ammo was handloaded 300gr SMK on top of 89.5gr H-1000.
