Greyboe Announces “Terrain” Stock Now Shipping

Greyboe – moving from McMillan’s offshoot to its own stand-alone enterprise – has been hard at work getting new products out the market. Originally launching with their “Renegade” and “Outlander” stocks, the “Terrain” is their latest offering, obviously designed for use in hunting applications. It is designed for “natural handing” for “hunting and range use.”

    As described by Greyboe:

The Terrain fully addresses the essence of a streamlined and minimalistic rifle stock design. Its smooth and classic lines make it a natural handling and intuitively pointing stock ideal for hunting or range use.  The stock incorporates a comfortable vertical hunting style grip merged with a classic and time tested raised cheek comb, this along with its ergonomic fore end design make it a truly transitional stock, adaptable to a variety of needs. …The new concept design is an original Grayboe design.

Too often, these hunting stocks forgo the modern accoutrements, especially Q/D adapter and include only a single sling swivel stud. Fortuantely, the Terrian is a bit more modern, including multiple Q/D flush cup adapters, in front and back no less. For additional accessory mounting, the two forward sling studs can be swapped for a picatinny rail section. Not quite M-LOK’s plethora of accessories, but for a hunter this should fit the bill nicely.

The stock is available in a wide variety of finishes including the standard solid finishes, “web” finishes, and pre-patterned camouflage finishes in Desert and Woodland camo patterns. Retail pricing starts at $399.

    Available configurations include:
