Artya “Son of a Gun” Watches

Artya is a watch manufacturing company. The reason why they are interesting for us is that they make a series of gun-themed watches called “Son of a Gun”. What is unique about them is that there are real rimfire cartridges (.22 BB Cap and .22 CB Cap) and bullets inside some of these watches. The company claims that these are the first watches ever to contain real bullets and cartridges. These series of watches are divided into several categories. Let’s take a brief look at these collections.

Tradition Collection

Watches within this category are actually those, which contain the BB cap and CB cap cartridges or their projectiles.

Russian Roulette Collection

This category is made of watches which have dials styled to look like a revolver cylinder with a single cartridge loaded into it. That explains the name “Russian roulette” – the infamous “game”. Although the company says that these “contain a real bullet”, I am pretty sure that these are just cartridge rims. I bet you all met people referring to all cartridges and cartridge components as bullets, didn’t you?

Target Collection

This collection is styled to resemble a scope reticle …no bullets there.

Werewolf Collection

Watches in this category have just bullet shaped dial elements.

All Artya watches are manufactured in Geneva and they have 7 different patents on them. There are more watches within each category besides those shown in the pictures of this post. For more style options, technical information and details, visit Artya’s website.

Target customer-thugs and gangbangers, Russian mafia?

    • EdgyTrumpet

Even russian gangsters wouldn’t wear something this tacky.

  • nate

I would say those are just gimmicky watches, but those Russian roulette ones are cool looking

I was curious about the price, but then I remembered the old saying “if you have to ask…”

  • jerry young

I kind of like the 357 Russian Roulette one and the rest are kind of cool but I doubt I’d ever buy one even if I could afford it, I stopped wearing a watch when I retired it would just set in the drawer with my other 6 or so watches I never wear
