Rugged Suppressors ‘Join Or Die’ Kit

Rugged Suppressors has just announced a limited edition package containing three of their best performing silencers. Known as the ‘Join, Or Die’ kit, the Obsidian 45, Surge 7.62 and Razor 7.62 all come custom finished in Cerakote with detailed laser engraving depicting the original colonies in the form of a segmented snake. The kit itself is being sold exclusively through Silencer Shop and is a limited run of 25 units.

Rather than just repeating the well known specifications of the Rugged lineup, I thought we could take a quick look at the basic history of the ‘Join, Or Die’ flag as engraved on the silencers included in the kit.

From Wikipedia:

Join, or Die is a well-known political cartoon, drawn by Benjamin Franklin and first published in his Pennsylvania Gazette on May 9, 1754.[1] The original publication by the Gazette is the earliest known pictorial representation of colonial union produced by a British colonist in America.[2] It is a woodcut showing a snake cut into eighths, with each segment labeled with the initials of one of the American colonies or regions. New England was represented as one segment, rather than the four colonies it was at that time.

Ah Ben Franklin, was there nothing that you couldn’t do?

DON’T answer that…

Further details and descriptions on the limited edition kit can be found below and on the Silencer Shop website.
