FREEDOM – In Rifle Form

Unique AR’s is a fantastic company. They have found a niche in the market creating various custom handguards on a small-batch basis which is a real challenge in a market that enjoys running large lots. Their designs are striking, with some of their initial releases like the flame and skeleton designs enjoying stable follows.

Having conquered bonfires and the undead, Unique AR’s has turned their attention to freedom. Their latest handguard goes full bore ‘Murica and America integrating Unique’s unique designs, the stars and stripes, a bald eagle and some fierce talons.

Showcasing what the handguard could be, Unique AR’s has started selling the rifles through an auction area of their website. The handguard accents some high-end components and with a bit of cerakote, TLC, and some billet receivers, the firearm will get any American patriots heart a-flutter. Retail pricing for the rifle is set at $2,300 but at the time of writing, the auction is only at $2,100.

For those wanting to customize their own rifle, the Freedom handguard is available as an option today starting at $250. From there, one can customize the handguard with various cerakote colors and presumably order the eagle as shown for an additional $140.

Can we Americans pat ourselves on the back any more than we already do? This level of narcissistic nationalism is why other countries laugh at us.

    • TheNotoriousIUD

      Ive got a raging Amerection.

      • Southpaw89

        I’m stealing that word.

    • m-dasher

eh, who cares?….theyre all just jealous they arent americans anyways

      • VanDiemensLand

        Nope.

    • Edeco

Can’t please everyone. Some ferriners like Iksnilol look to us American shooters as rock-star/father-figures.

      • iksnilol

        Wut? I do what now?

NOTE: I don’t mind the American “nationalism” but I do find it worrying that a significant portion of your flag is red (commies are red just so you know, it has no place in the American flag).

        • Edeco

We had red first, chosen for convenience to keep the Navy from being charged with piracy. Green was the color for Commies at the time. Your heart might be in the right place but it’s beneath us to back off of red.

A more unfortunate thing is that the repeating red and white can look pink from a distance; the color of socialism (ew).

      Only time will tell. MAGA!

Have you missed the ‘Merica-hating protests or what?
Those other countries are laughing so hard they are killing each other for the opportunity to come here and live.

          Xenophobia is the new Patriotism.

          • fds

Xenophobia is new excuse to shut up all resistance against SOROS project to erase all nations and cultures. In europe in some countries like mine, when arrived first few inmigrant, everybody, and me, helped them. But when few years ago to the same towns arrived massive waves, its different.

          • iksnilol

            What country was that?

          • USMC03Vet

National sovereignty and rule of law == xenophobia.

    • FREEDOM

Im european and i dont think its “narcissistic nationalism”. It seem that today every white men and west nations have to be self-conscius or feel guilty about something, WHY?

Are not other peoples, nations, cultures proud of themselves? Proud to be what they are tired of self-flagelation,if the owner of that AR15 was kurdish probably would have kurd symbols.

Arent russiand proud to be russians? Arent mulsins proud to be muslins? Arents chinese proud to be chinese?

If you dont like your country and american way of life, FREEDOM,i advise you to come to Europe, specially to those countries where FREE SPEECH literally dont exist.Speak, or write against you politicians or their political actions may be a crime, thats the reason why many blogs and websites has the host in USA,for the freedom of speech that you have and we not.

Here, film to one cop abusing of one person its a crime, you cant record to any police agente iworking.

Here, politicians Decide that we must teach our children against the will of the fathers, in public and private schools.

Sometimes we do not value what we have until ……..

Every people has the right to feel proud of itself and its achievements.

      • iksnilol

Umm, where do you live with “no free speech”? And what’s wrong with public and private schools?

    • nate

why should we care what other countries think about us? do people in Europe stand around going, “we need to care what American think about us” no they couldn’t care less about our opinions, so who cares about theirs? ‘MERICA!

      Spotted the cuck.

That’s about the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen and I live in Mississippi – a place where some public toilets have a weight limit sign.

  • Disarmed in CA

It’s a little flashy, but I like it anyway.

  • Keiichi

    ‘Murica

  • Don Ward

    *Looks at the price*
    Freedom isn’t free…

    • Jacob

It usually only costs a buck oh five.

  • MeaCulpa

I used to think that freedom was worth any price, now I know that freedom is worth considerable less than $ 2300, depressing.

  • Edeco

They should make a pistol grip or shoulder stock out of round tubing painted to look like a rolled up Constutition

  • VanDiemensLand

    What colour is that? Salmon?

  • jay

I like it. May be a little gaudy, but if you can afford it, and it’s not your duty rifle, why not? It’s all a matter of taste. As for all you people making nasty comments about it looking like a pay toilet, or narcissistic nationalism, pphhtttppp’ssss! There are two types of people who aren’t Americans, they either want to be American, or they are alive because of Americans. So all you self hating weenies, go to hell!

    • iksnilol

I don’t really fit into either category.

I honestly don’t really care about you folks.

      • jay

        And yet, you are a fixture of the TFB. Why do you stick around, if something doesn’t compel you to be on these blogs? It’s not like you are an argumentative poster, like some of the others, who come just to ruffle feathers, and argue about how your opinion is better, or more correct. So, what is it then? What keeps you coming back? Just the articles about firearms? Perhaps a small portion of you craves the belonging? I think a small, hidden part of you may be American (secretly of course). ;-}

        • iksnilol

No, it’s just the habit to be honest and I kinda like guns.

          That’s about it.

Sure, sometimes you get interesting insights (primarily from Daniel, the patents guy and Tassiebush and of course TFB’s own Nathaniel F.). But again, that’s primarily about guns, politics are sooo boring and literally everywhere. Sure, I don’t mind ruffling a few feathers on occasion, but if that was my primary motivation I’d get a prescription for nitroglycerine and make a habit of visiting TTAG.

  • USMC03Vet

I like to keep my ejection port cover closed to keep unwanted debris out just like I like my borders.

    • Wolfgar

Perfect! I’m going to use that 🙂

  • nate

holy crap, I need one of these just for the 4th of july
