Those of you paying attention will remember back in September we announced the new Ruger Mini Thirty Tactical model. Basically the Ruger Mini Thirty Tactical is the 7.62x39mm caliber Ruger Mini Thirty with a shorter, threaded, 16.12″ barrel, and a Ruger flash suppressor. Now Ruger is offering the Mini Thirty Tactical in a stainless steel finish.
The Ruger Mini Thirty Tactical in Stainless Steel, like the blued Ruger Mini Thirty Tactical, features a synthetic stock, a cold hammer-forged barrel, integral scope mounts, aperture rear sight, and a drilled and tapped receiver. The Ruger Mini Thirty in Stainless Finish’s pre-drilled receiver lets you mount the included Picatinny rail on the receiver instead of using the long-established Ruger Scope Rings. This rail allows for red dot sights or other non-traditional optics, like an ACOG or Elcan scope.
The Ruger Mini Thirty Tactical with Stainless Finish ships with two magazines, Ruger scope rings, and the previously mentioned Picatinny rail. The MSRP for the new Ruger Mini Thirty Tactical with Stainless Finish is $1169, but the street price seems to be hovering around the $850 mark.
