Show at the Northwest Shooting Sports Expo, gaming company GAEMS has shown one of their latest wares, the GAEMS Rail System, which uses the common Picatinny rail specification and applies it for the electronic enthusiast. The new Rail System uses the now “old fashioned” quad rail to provide versatile mounting for a variety of devices.
The GAEMS Rail System comes in two flavors, a “Satellite Stand” and a “Weighted Stand”, the latter being designed primarily for monitors. The Satellite Stand supports lightweight devices such as GAEMS lightweight monitor, tablets, photos, cameras, etc. The Weighted version supports larger devices, up to 14 lbs (about the weight of a 24″ monitor).
The hollow inside of the rail is used for cable management and routing, which as a former IT guy is highly appreciated. Nothing worse than a desk with cables going everywhere!
Pricing on the stands clocks in at $229 for the Satellite and $249 for the Weighted version. Those picking up the weighted version will also get an AR carry handle for both the tacti-cool factor and ease of transport.
