Kinetic Concealment started out as a holster company making the now familiar kydex/leather combo holsters in OWB and IWB configurations. We’ve tested these holsters and found them to be well made and comfortable.

In recent months Kinetic has expanded their product offerings to include among other things green laser sights for use on railed handguns as well as rifles with rail systems. The new laser sight is the KC Mini. The mini has a small picatinny rail built into the bottom of the unit. It runs on one C123 battery. Activation is by ambidextrous button switches as well as a plugin pressure switch primarily for rifles or perhaps AR15 pistols. The body is made of aluminum with windage and elevation adjustment fittings.

The sight has three settings which are constant on, strobe and off. The power of this small laser is about equal to any other green laser sight. I’ve checked it at night and found it will project a strong beam several blocks away.

This sight is also a bargain at the $79.95 retail price. Of course street prices will be lower. I don’t know the country of origin but I would assume it’s made in China or other asian country. While we have an almost constant discussion of the pros and cons of Chinese made products this sight seems a step above the norm in having an aluminum case with anodized coating and water resistant seals.

In my testing over several days of use I found it to be reliable and plenty bright as well as easily adjustable. As far as battery life I left the laser on for 56 hours straight and the beam was still as bright as ever. For those on a budget or those who just see no sense in spending several hundred dollars on a laser sight this might be a micro sight you would want to check out.
