Damn, for $2500 throw in a few plastic mags.

    • Vitsaus

I highly doubt that the finish they are using will hold up very long. Better off getting one in black and taking a trip to the hardware store.

      • TheNotoriousIUD

Black never goes out of style.

Once you go black, you never go back… LOL

          • David

Sure you do, back and forth!

    • David

It better give hand jobs for that price.

      • USMC03Vet

More like full service, breakfast, and a tire rotation for that price.

        • supergun

No,,,,new set of michlins. But I like that gun more and more.

      • Dracon1201

HAND JOBS? What are we? Highschoolers?! This is the professional world, for $2500 I’m looking for a lot more…

        • iksnilol

You really haven’t priced prostitutes lately, have you?

          • Dracon1201

I don’t know how much they are in your neck of the woods…

          • David

The only problem with hookers is you will also need blow. Adds up quick.

          • Dracon1201

I always keep a little on hand for special occasions.

          • Ace Dragon

cheaper than dirt has AR 15 starting at $499.00. go to gunbrokers and search for .AK 47 BULlPUP. NOT VERY MANY OF THEM IN THE STATES . MAYBE A DOZEN.

          • Dracon1201

Sir, I have no clue what you are talking about.

    • cs

For $2500 I’d rather have an FN SCAR 16 or 17

      • TheNotoriousIUD

        Me too.

  • Anonymoose

    Cowadooty? Cowadooty.

    • KestrelBike

      It just looks ghastly.

      • HenryV

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 🙂

I just wish I could own one in black. 🙁

          • HenryV

            The UK………….

          • Anonymoose

            That’s a “yes.”

  • Zang Kang King

Why? Is this something for 18 year olds to lust after? MSRP on the regular Tavor is $1999. This is $495 more of what? The most resilient camouflage application in the history of mankind. I think not.

    • USMC03Vet

      Still has horrible trigger too.

      • Slovko

You’re right. Speaking from experience, the Tavor is a good rifle, but for the high MSRP, it should be a pound lighter and not require another $450 to make the trigger usable.

        • steve miller

triggers can be had for under $350 – I have 3

      • Easily remedied—-

      • steve miller

it is what it is – a combat trigger – plus being a bullpup adds to the effect – with a simple removal of one of the springs ( by the way – 2nd gen Tavors only have 1 spring) and a polish job can get the trigger down below 8 lbs

        • guest

          “down below 8 lbs” ?

          entice me some more. :p

    • supergun

Academy sells them for around $1,600

    • Mc Cain

You can get a TAVOR for $1500 easily. Check Gunwatcher.

  • mig1nc

If you go the site most of their vendors are selling for under $1900. At least in my area. Not too bad.

  • Mark

There’s a rumor that their next offering of high-quality firearms will be some rusty .25ACP Ravens.

    • Cymond

Does potmetal rust? The prequesite for iron oxide is obviously iron.

      • Mark

Hilarious! I will be laughing for hours!

      • iksnilol

Well, if you use Wolf ammo you probably will get some iron in it.

  • SirOliverHumperdink

That’s a great price if they stuff $1000 in the clip.

    • supergun

Prices would probably go down if every American bought one, but that would give the w-h an heart attack.

      • Sheeple shepherd

Every American is buying guns that’s for sure. September was a record month.

        • supergun

On second thought they would probably not go down if everyone wanted one. Look at the 5~7 pistol.

      • steve miller

        currently approaching serial #50,000

        • supergun

Like I said above, the 5-7 pistol proves me wrong. High demand, high price.

    • Mc Cain

      Did he just say “clip”?

      • SirOliverHumperdink

        Yes, I said clip.

  • iksnilol

I like the paintjob, but I have this nasty feeling you can get a Tavor, paintjob and improved trigger for $2500 or less. I checked gunbroker and you can get a Tavor for $1600, so throw in an improved trigger for $500 and you still have $400 to spare that can be spent on ammo, mags or getting that pimpin paintjob.

  • Sgt. Stedenko

    My eyes!
    It burns.

  • Some Guy

that’d sort of be the case by definition, wouldn’t it?

  • Tim U

I’m sure they’ll end up basically running you $100ish more than a regular Tavor.

  • Mc Cain

    You forgot to add:

“And it costs $1,000 more than people who are in their right minds would ever spend on a TAVOR.”

  • JoninMd22

$500 buys a lot of ammo, I’ll skip the paint job.

  • Graham2

It looks like a vegetarian threw up on it!

  • steve miller

good luck – you can buy a blk Tavor for $1600 – nice $800 paint job though

  • Leo

is it becase of color only? it is nuts…
