I’ve personally shot tannerite with my Howa 1500 in .270 win at 400 yards. Great rifles and extremely underrated.

    • MountainKelly

I think they’re pretty well regarded just not well known. Most people recognize them as the weatherby vanguard s2 though 😛

    Digging that Highlander

I always liked the Kryptek patterns. I don’t think they get enough recognition.

      • Ethan

They kind of entered that market around the same time as Multi-Cam and a few others “next-gen” camo patterns. It seem the Kryptek patterns lost a lot of visibility (no pun intended) in the mix.

I agree, they are highly underated.

  • Mohammed

Do they come without the garbage scope on them? I got enough take off garbage scopes laying around.

    • Tassiebush

Yeah the sure do come without scope.

  • Blake

doesn’t Sierra have a trademark on “Gameking”?

or perhaps the mark is limited to bullets/ammo?

    • Mark Stapleton

Blake the Game King is a Nikko Stirling Scope not Howa so any infringement would not be there bad . Howa used to be marketed as CMC , I had a 22250 , beautifull timber in the stocks and very accurate . the parent company in Japan is decades old and has many military contracts .

What’s the advantage over the old scandinavian 6.5×55? Shorter action?

    • Vitor Roma

It is compatible with .308 rifles, just requiring a barrel change, if Im not mistaken.

  • MountainKelly

Sucks theyre not selling them in.375 ruger anymore,at least the barreled actions

  • walter12

All these crazy new calibers. But who in the heck can shoot them when they are so expensive?
