New Gen 4 Gray Glocks From Lipsey’s

G19 Gray

Glock has partnered with Lipsey’s to distribute Gen4 Glock pistols with a gray frame. These new guns follow previously released flat dark earth and OD green models that have been sold through the same distributor.

The pistols were released to dealers on July 1, so shooters can probably start finding the guns in the local shops starting now. Models available include the:

  • G17
  • G19 (pictured above)
  • G20
  • G21
  • G22
  • G23

“With the growing trend of gray in both the AR-15 and tactical accessory market, the timing has never been better for a gray framed version of one of the most popular semi-automatic pistols in the world,” said Jason Cloessner, Product Development Manager at Lipsey’s.

    Game changer.

Time to throw out all my non gray guns.

  • Michael Wilson

nice! i would love to have an od green one tho…

    • KestrelBike

obligatory Glock’s ODGreen is the most non-ODG color imagineable. It’s like split-pea-soup linda blair style.

      • Michael Wilson

        lol…. they should fix that.

  • santi

Where do I wait in line?

  • Vitsaus

How did people operate before this color came out? This must be how people felt when the telephone was introduced.

    • TheNotoriousIUD

If only Delta had these at Desert One…

    • Beju

Presumably, in a less operational manner.

    • sam

At lower speed, with more drag and less tacticality from a fundamental standpoint. Hardly any pipe hitting.

      • Gern Blanston

I completely agree figuratively speaking of course and relative…. sort of…

  • Anonymoose

Is it just me, or do a lot of these dark “gray” polymers look almost purple?

    • Joshua Chang

You need to calibrate the color on you’re monitor.

  • sam

Greys are the only alternate colors I find ok. Not a fan of green, brown, blue, metal flake, faux carbon fiber, cheetah…

    • El Duderino

      Say whut…

      • sam

I’ll try to rephrase. I usually prefer the ubiquitous black or very dark grey polymer frames. As far as special colors, I don’t mind medium or light grey. I wouldn’t want tan, dark earth, green, brown etc. Those I don’t like. Blending with terrain is not a huge concern if mine.

        • El Duderino

Sorry brodiƱo. I tried to throw up a pic of a rainbow colored AR but it didn’t take. Context would have helped.

  • El Duderino

For all of those Glock collectors out there. Which is kind of like collecting Toyota Camrys, but I digress…

  • Jack Burton

Gray is so much easier on the eyes than the tan/brown crap that has become so popular in recent years…hopefully gains popularity.

  • Gern Blanston

how about a paisley frame… that sucker would blend in with all the douchebag hipsters down town…

  • Vasco T

It looks like Glock dropped the the “sniper” part and it’s just “gray”.

  • Giolli Joker

    Cool, gray plastic.
On a side note, who makes the AR grip in the photo? The off-road tire style gripping pattern looks nice.

    • Rocket_Fiend

Pretty certain it’s the new standard grip for Daniel Defense rifles. It was comfortable, but I ended up replacing it.

I know that they run really well (& police all over the world depend on them) but Glock’s blocky plastic look & feel just never did it for me.

Call me a traditionalist if you will…

Looks like Glock is going down the path if Apple…Meaning, after Steve Jobs died. The only thing apple/Glock does is make the same thing smaller/thinner/longer.

But wait there’s more…. Glock is now in worthless GRAY!!!!…

I was the number 1 Glock fan boy until the M&P came out…innovation is what got Glock on the market, but now that Mr. Glock is too busy with his mail order bride, his creativity is being sucked dry…no

BTW…coming out with a slimline .380/9mm 5 years after the market wanted it was a great job…who ever is running the company needs to wake up!…Everyone can thank Paul Jannuzzo.

So sad…This company too will soon be by the wayside.
