Firefield Compact Green Pistol Laser and Light

Firefield announced the company is now shipping a compact unit that combines a white light and green aiming laser. Designed specifically for compact pistols, the FF25002 will mount on the accessory rail of most small handguns.

The light is rated at 180 lumens and has a stated range of 600 yards. The unit is powered by a single CR2 battery. Running the white light only, battery life is listed as 2 hours. With the green laser only, battery life is rated at 9 hours. With both the light and the laser, the battery is rated at 90 minutes.

The MSRP of the unit is $119.99.

It would be nice if they had a single pic on they’re website of the laser mounted on something. I know its “compact” but there’s nothing to reference it against.

Since when has TFB become shills for cheap overseas made junk?

    • Damn guy it’s a press release to let readers know about new products. That’s all it is.

      • Rusty Shackleford

I, for one, actually appreciate it and probably wouldn’t have know about it. This unit is set up the way I like with the laser module both inline and directly under the bore as well as being a green laser/light combo at a decent price for what I would use it for. Thanks

if 180 lumens is good at 600 yards it must have a beam as tight as the laser’s.

I suppose the 600yds are only referred to the laser… BTW, who needs 600yds of range on a handgun?

(OK, in chronological order: Elmer Keith, Bob Munden, Jerry Miculek…)

The cool thing is, they DIDN’T need lasers.

Getting tired of all the cut & paste ad snippets – yea I know people need to make money but its getting out of hand.

There have been number of items that TFB posts like this that ends up as junk.

Please go back and focus on reviews.

    • Matt

Hey TFB, instead of half ass advertising how about you buy the products you shill for, test them and then tell us if there actually decent or not.

      • stephen

They don’t even have to buy the products – just ask the companies for one for T&E (testing and evaluation). Almost all companies (that include firearms, lights, lasers & other tactical gear) will send T&Es to people test and evaluate, then conduct reviews, IF someone asks.

        Just saying

        • It does take time to get things for reviews. We have a good number of guns and other products coming.
This post is news and that’s all. I get a press release and send it on to the writers and they write it up for your information.

      • Ah my pet peeve word—– Just buy them. In case nobody clued you in we have to make money to pay the bills like everyone else.
This is a press release and we try to keep the readers up to date on new products.

Laser near the bore *doing it right*

  • Nashvone

I could see one of these for CCW purposes…if it’s reliable.

My share of complaints: the manufacturer (not TFB) could have offered a few shots of the product actually installed on a handgun, to give the potential customer a better idea on how it fits.
