My hat is off to Kenetic Development Group for their rapid pace of product launches. While originally focusing on some great enhancements to the SCAR, KDG has turned their attention to the AR with the MREX-AR, an M-LOK free-float handguard. Currently, only one length is available (11.63″), but others are likely to be available soon.
Also released is their Kinect, a spring-loaded M-LOK system that ensures you can never accidently over-torque a M-LOK rail section (or anything else for that matter). Interestingly, the release includes a Aimpoint Micro mount (likely for 3-gunners), but I am interested to see if any manufacturers ever move to a rail-less rifle and use M-LOK or similar on the top of the rifles.
