New Comp-Tac Flatline Thumb Break Holster

Comp-Tac

Comp-Tac announced the introduction of the company’s newest holster design: the Flatline Thumb Break.

The Flatline Thumb Break is an evolution of the original Comp-Tac Flatline holster. Comp-Tac added a leather retention strap to the Kydex rig to enhance the overall security. As with the original Flatline, the the Thumb Break can be worn inside-the-waistband (IWB) or outside-the-waistband (OWB) depending on what mounting clips you attach.

Ride depth and pistol cant are adjustable, and the holster is compatible with different belt widths. Comp-Tac offers the Flatline Thumb Break in left- and right-handed models. Additionally, customers can get the rig in any of four different colors: black, pink, red or blue.

The MSRP is $94.99.

Kinda pricey for the addition of a Leather strap.

Most of their stuff is kinda pricey. Part of what you are paying for is the name.

I was going to get all excited, but 95 beans for squashed plastic and a leather strap is nutzoidal. I live in dread of anything in Kydex popping out of a moving HUMVEE or boat when used on duty, that’s pushing custom leather territory. And it doesn’t even look halfway “advanced”, like a Safariland or G-Code retention system.
