Volquartsen is now offering an accuracy improvement drop-in kit for the 10/22 Takedown rifle. The new kit includes a 16.5″ carbon fiber barrel and CNC machined 6061-T6 forend.

The barrel is threaded (1/2″x28) and includes a thread protector. Volquartsen built in a Picatinny rail on the bottom of the forend and another on the top of the barrel. These allow for the quick addition of a bipod and scope or other accessories.

Without added accessories, the new kit weighs 2.0 pounds. The Volquartsen kit has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $370, and the kit is available now.
